| 解説 | 【スコアのみ。パート譜はレンタル】西邑由紀子が“夏の大三角形”をテーマに描いた、アルトサクソフォンを主役とする抒情的な吹奏楽作品。サックスが紡ぐ伸びやかで澄んだ旋律は、夏の夜空に輝くデネブ・ベガ・アルタイルを結ぶ光のラインを思わせ、バックの吹奏楽が柔らかい色彩で情景を支えます。穏やかな中にもキラリと光る瞬間が散りばめられ、音の広がりと余韻が印象的。技術的に無理がなく、ソロの魅力を美しく引き立てる、演奏会で映える爽やかな一曲です。 (出版社のオリジナル解説） Well-known Japanese saxophonist， Mr. Masato Kumoi， commissioned this work after hearing the composer’s piece “Star Ship，” asking that she write something new for solo alto saxophone and band that included the same main theme. According to Wikipedia， a summer triangle is an “astronomical asterism involving an imaginary triange drawn on the northern hemisphere’s celestial sphere， with its defining vertices at Altair， Deneb， and Vega， the brightest stars in the three constellations of Aquila， Cygnus and Lyra， respectively.” The movement titles represent each of these stars: 1. Aquila， 2. Lyra (Star Ship)， and 3. Cygnus. |
