| 解説 | ベルト・アッペルモントは吹奏楽や管弦楽作品で知られる現代オランダの作曲家で、本作は彼による吹奏楽作品です。「英雄への讃歌」は英雄的精神や勇気を讃える荘厳な楽曲で、豊かで表情豊かな旋律と重厚な和声が特徴です。管楽器群の掛け合いや対位法的な技法により音楽に深みとダイナミクスの幅をもたらします。演奏会で聴衆に感動と高揚感を伝え、英雄への敬意と壮大な情感を音楽的に表現する一曲です。 (出版社のオリジナル解説） This composition was inspired by the life of the German cavalry general Hans Michael Elias von Obentraut (1574-1625). The heroism of the illustrious general is expressed in a majestic hymn. Hymn for a Hero can serve as a separate work but， if desired， it can also be integrated in the four-movement composition A Hero’s Tale. Concretely， this means that this flex version， following the opening fanfare， can be played along with the first movement (bars 9-52). Thus， a youth or beginner band can make music and perform together with a band of adults or advanced players. This work was commissioned by the Jugendblasorchester Seelze for the Obentrautstadt Seelze. |
