| 解説 | 高橋宏樹による吹奏楽作品です。中国敦煌の莫高窟を舞台に、千年にわたる祈りと文化の輝きを音楽で描写しています。荘厳な旋律と豊かな和声、民族的な色彩を帯びたリズムが特徴で、歴史的空間の神秘性や荘厳さを表現します。各楽器の対話や響きの重なりにより、聴衆に悠久の時と祈りの情景を感じさせる、一曲を通じて深い感動を与える作品です。 (出版社のオリジナル解説） ’Mogao Grottes- Prayers of a Millennium’ portrayed the prosperous scenario of Buddhism along the Silk Road during 6th to 10th century A.D. The flourishing color and delicate timbre of wind band were covered all at one glance under highly-skilled composition and orchestration by the composer. The piece begins with the glamorous tutti. Piccolo and trombones present the theme， which symbolizes the mysterious and ancientness of the millennium. Bright allegro comes thereafter， the flourishing scene is presented by lively melody and rich texture. The dynamic of music is broadened by the warm sound of the band and the human voice， creating epical magnificence. The movement finally returns to allegro， the most dazzling music force is accumulated to the climax and finished. The piece is suitable for both concert performance and music competition. |
