解説 | The piece described an ancient Chinese legend ’Pangu Separates the Sky from the Earth’: The titanic god ’Pangu,’ who was born when the world is still in chaos, had dedicated his life to creating a flourish and dazzling new world. The introduction begins with magnificent, resonant horn acoustic. Whimpering piccolo tells the emptiness of the world and solitude of Pangu. As the melodies accumulate, a boundary between sky and earth gradually emerged. The sound of clarinets and horns were as steady as Pangu’s determination, struggling and fighting alone. The principle theme appears at the end of music again, with the heroic hymn played by the brass. Pangu eventually exhausted his own life, burying his own sigh and body into the new world. |
