| 解説 | ベルギーの作曲家ベルト・アッペルモントのこの曲は、2002年8月にベルギーのクルイベーケで初演された野外ミュージカル『Zaad van Satan（サタンの種）』からの7つの楽曲を基にしたコンサート組曲です。 タイトルの『Saga Candida』は「罰せられるべきでない魔女」を意味し、17世紀初頭の魔女狩りをテーマにしています。 組曲は、魔女とされた女性の迫害を7つの対照的な楽章で描写し、各楽章は異なる感情や状況を表現しています。 この作品は、当時の社会的・歴史的背景を音楽的に探求し、聴衆に深い印象を与えます。 （出版社のオリジナル解説） Saga Candida means ‘witch who doesn’t deserve to be punished’. It is the first concert suite based upon 7 songs from the open-air musical Zaad van Satan， which was shown for the first time in August 2002， in Kruibeke， Belgium. This gigantic spectacle which topics witchcraft at the beginning of the 17th century， attracted more than 10，000 spectators in just a few weeks. Throughout 7 contrasting movements (emotions) the persecution of a witch is being depicted. |
