| 解説 | フェリックス・メンデルスゾーンによる本作は、柔らかく気品ある旋律と透明感のある響きが魅力の作品です。ロマン派初期らしい端正な構築の中に、歌うような旋律美と繊細な和声が織り込まれ、管楽器それぞれの色彩が豊かに活かされています。原典版では作曲者の意図に忠実なテキストにより、室内楽的な親密さと優雅な夜の情景がいっそう鮮明に感じられる一曲です。 〈出版社のオリジナル曲解説〉 - First Urtext Edition - With additional parts in B-flat for the clarinet and trumpet as well as parts in F for the horns In 1826 Mendelssohn composed a Nocturno for a Bad Doberan spa band which consisted of 11 wind players (flute， 2 oboes， 2 clarinets， 2 bassoons， 2 horns， trumpet and bass horn). The composition was later used as the basis for his Overture for Winds op. 24 which requires much larger forces. The Nocturno， a chamber music work in the divertimento tradition， was not published during Mendelssohn’s lifetime; it appears here in a first ever critical edition in score and parts edited by Christopher Hogwood. |
