| 解説 | ミュージカル「キャバレー（Cabaret）」のコンプリート曲集です。イギリスの作家クリストファー・イシャウッドの短編「さらばベルリン」を、イギリスの劇作家ジョン・ヴァン・ドゥルーテンが「私はカメラ」という戯曲にしたものをベースにミュージカル化した作品です。1966年にブロードウェイ、1972年に映画化、1998年にリバイバル公演の全曲が入っています。ナチスの支配が強まるベルリンで、場末のキャバレー「キット・キャット・クラブ」を舞台に、歌姫のイギリス人サリーと作家志望のアメリカ人クリフとの恋と破局を描いています。 |
